Connecting our Communities

Our Vision

  • Sustainable Community Development for North St. Louis
  • Secure affordable homeownership and rental options
  • Design career-training pipelines in trades and technology
  • Launch small-business incubators and micro-loan programs
  • Rebuild shared spaces—parks, community centers, markets—to foster connection

Our Approach

  • Ben Polson Memorial Scholarship
Financial assistance for students with first responder parents, helping them pursue education without undue burden.
  • Entrepreneurship and small business support
In partnership with the Heartland Black Chamber of Commerce—a nationally recognized, established chamber—we connect entrepreneurs to resources, coaching, and city leaders so local businesses can start, grow, and hire.
  • Workforce training and career pathways
Partnering with local businesses and foundations, we provide training programs and direct connections to jobs and long-term careers for residents across our community.
  • Community forums and neighbor-to-neighbor support
Regular, open forums for any and all community needs—listening, coordinating resources, and mobilizing volunteers to meet challenges together.

Our Goal

  • Cohesive and sustainable
  • We focus on solutions that strengthen social ties and endure/education, stable jobs, small business growth, and safe, vibrant neighborhoods.
  • Local-first economics
  • We believe sustainability starts with keeping dollars circulating in our neighborhoods. We help people earn, spend, and invest locally so prosperity doesn’t leave the city—it builds it.
  • Shared responsibility and pride
  • Everyone has a role in rebuilding St. Louis. We champion individual ownership, mutual aid, and the pride that comes from working side-by-side to improve our blocks, our businesses, and our future.

HOW YOU CAN HELP

• Donate to power scholarships, training, and small business support.

• Partner with us to host trainings, hire graduates, or mentor entrepreneurs.
